Light + Building 2024 Retrospective
TPK Lighting presents next-generation architectural lighting technologies in Frankfurt.
From 3 to 8 March 2024, TPK Lighting exhibited at Light + Building in Frankfurt, Germany — one of the major international events for building services and lighting. The company used the show to present its outdoor architectural lighting range and collect direct feedback on European market requirements.
Defining the Future of Smart Illumination
The European market continues to set high expectations for sustainable urban nightscapes. As a commercial LED lighting manufacturer, TPK Lighting engaged with international architects, project developers and lighting designers to discuss how its luminaires fit into modern urban infrastructure.
Technological Highlights: Matrix Power & Pixel Control
A centerpiece of the display was the LWW-ROWS-W150 LED Wall Washer, designed with a high-power matrix light source layout for long-distance floodlighting of super high-rise buildings, using precision optics to achieve uniform light distribution and reduce stray light and glare in typical installations.
The engineering team also discussed smart protocol integration, demonstrating the LPL-OP-D30 LED Pixel Lights and how TPK fixtures can be controlled via DMX512 for dynamic digital media facades, designed to support compliance with applicable EU energy and lighting regulations.

Voice of the Customer: Mastering Glare Control
“Meeting stringent European Dark Sky regulations while maintaining the high lux levels required for commercial landmarks is our biggest daily hurdle. TPK Lighting’s focus on internal glare-control louvers and high-transmittance optical lenses provides the precision we need to keep light where it belongs — on the architecture, not in the sky.”
