SSL-2005
Ferris Series
Commercial solar post-top luminaire engineered for civic plazas, municipal pathways, and public garden walkways.
Architectural form.
Public presence.
Radial optics.
Each independent circular head incorporates dedicated optical lenses with wide-angle beam distribution, delivering up to 1,837.3 lm total output across pedestrian paths without upward light pollution.

Solar autonomy.
High-conversion monocrystalline silicon panels provide full battery recharge within 6 hours of bright sunlight. Paired with internal LiFePO4 storage up to 128 Wh, the PWM system supports 3 consecutive cloudy or rainy days of autonomous dusk-to-dawn operation.
Die-cast chassis.
Engineered with a robust die-cast aluminum housing and four stainless steel locking fasteners. The base incorporates a standardized Ø76 mm internal tenon receiver for direct installation on municipal poles. Net weight ranges from 10.31 kg to 16.47 kg.

Frequently asked questions.
How does the fixture maintain illumination during overcast or rainy weather?
The luminaire provides up to 3 consecutive cloudy or rainy days of autonomous dusk-to-dawn lighting. Its integrated monocrystalline panel recharges the internal LiFePO4 battery pack within 6 hours of bright sunlight, managed by an internal PWM charge controller.
What pole diameter is required for installation, and is the pole included?
The fixture requires a standard Ø76 mm (3-inch) external pole tenon for secure slip-fit mounting. The pole is not included and must be supplied separately to match project mounting height requirements (typically 4 to 6 meters).
Can this luminaire be connected to AC grid power or operate on hybrid projects?
Yes. In addition to autonomous solar configurations powered by automotive-grade LiFePO4 batteries (3.2V, 20Ah to 40Ah), we offer the SSL-2005-AC model. It utilizes the identical architectural die-cast aluminum housing, optical lens modules, and Ø76 mm spigot mounting system, but connects to 100–240V AC mains electricity delivering 10,000 lm. This enables landscape architects to deploy visually consistent luminaires across both solar and grid-connected areas.
