LWW-PZT-W38A Slim IP66 Architectural LED Wall Washer
The LWW-PZT-W38A is an ultra-slim 38mm architectural LED wall washer for facades, bridges, hotel exteriors and landscape perimeters. Its compact profile fits narrow ledges, curtain-wall details and concealed architectural recesses where the lighting effect should be visible while the fixture remains discreet.
Built with extruded 6063 aluminum, tempered glass and silicone structural glazing, the fixture uses a resin-free sealing design for outdoor installations. Available in 314mm, 615mm and 1218mm lengths with 9W, 18W, 24W and 36W standard configurations, it supports static white, RGB and RGBW options across 24V DC, 100–240V AC and 100–277V AC versions.
Choose symmetric 10°, 20°, 40° and 60° optics, or asymmetric 10×20°, 15×40° and 15×55° distributions to match facade height, fixture setback and wall geometry. Selected configurations support DMX512/RDM, 0–10V and DALI control for static dimming, color-changing scenes and project-specific lighting systems.

Advantages
Slim 38mm Profile with Silicone Structural Glazing (IP66)
The minimalist 38mm body integrates discreetly into exterior mullions, reveals and ledges without disrupting daytime facade aesthetics. High-grade architectural silicone seals the tempered-glass-to-aluminum interface, creating an IP66 structural waterproofing system without cavity resin encapsulation.
ETL Listed, CE Certified & Multi-Voltage Ready
All standard LWW-PZT-W38A configurations are available with ETL Listing for North American projects and CE certification for European applications. Choose 24V DC, 100–240V AC or 100–277V AC versions to match project power systems from low-voltage facade runs to North American commercial installations.
DMX512 / RDM Remote Management
Direct bidirectional RDM addressing supports commissioning across long and complex linear runs without opening the sealed IP66 luminaire. The W38A integrates with MADRIX, LUNA 8, Pharos, Sunlite and standard DMX512 control systems for static color, dynamic scenes and project-specific programming.
High Efficacy Optics & Glare-Control Accessories
High-efficacy SMD LEDs and precision optics—including 10°, 20°, 40°, 60°, 10×20°, 15×40° and 15×55°—support long-throw projection, controlled wall grazing and façade-specific beam shaping. Optional honeycomb grilles and light barriers help reduce glare and control spill light in pedestrian-facing installations.
Adjustable Bracket with 7.5° Scale Rotation
The standard bracket provides 7.5° aiming increments, with up to 172.5° total rotation for 24V DC versions and 165° for AC versions. With the optional 250mm extended bracket, the 36W 15×40° configuration achieved verified vertical facade coverage up to 7m under the stated 4000K, Ra>80, 10-lux test setup.
Quick-Connector Wiring for Linear Runs
Quick-connect IP66 wiring links simplify fixture-to-fixture installation across long linear runs and allow service access without opening the sealed housing. DMX signal-chain capacity varies by fixture length: up to 32 L12 fixtures, 64 L6 fixtures or 128 L3 fixtures per DMX segment, subject to the selected channel mode and project control design.
Application Scenarios
Narrow Hotel Facade Recesses and Cove Details
The ultra-compact 38mm cross-section integrates seamlessly into tight facade reveals, canopy recesses, curtain-wall mullions, and concealed architectural coves, achieving clean "see the light, not the fixture" architectural integration without disrupting daylight aesthetics.
Tall Architectural Facade Columns and Vertical Up-Lighting
Equipped with narrow 10° and 20° symmetric optics delivering high center-beam candela, the fixture provides powerful, punchy vertical illumination for multi-story columns, vertical structural fins, and high-rise facade accents requiring extended throw distances.
Commercial Plazas & Dynamic Media Facades
Four-channel RGBW configurations paired with DMX512/RDM control turn commercial podiums, retail storefronts, and entertainment plazas into dynamic architectural canvases. Designers can program smooth color transitions, seasonal holiday themes, and synchronized dynamic lighting shows across multi-fixture networks without compromising daytime facade aesthetics.
Bridges and Waterfront Corridors
IP66 protection, compact dimensions and control options support bridge rails, walkway edges, structural details and waterfront linear lighting applications.
Select beam angle, voltage and control method according to mounting distance, facade height, wiring topology and required lighting scene.
Verified 15×40° Facade Lighting Performance
With the optional 250mm extended bracket, the verified 36W setup reaches up to 7m vertical coverage against a 10 lux design target.
The 250mm setback lets the 15×40° asymmetric beam open correctly. Verified on-site on a white putty-finished wall and cross-checked against an IES-based DIALux simulation — download the IES file to reproduce the calculation.

15×40° vs 20° • 36W • 250mm fixture setback

Matching IES file • 10 lux target on effective facade area
| Fixture | Optic | Setback | Test Surface | CCT / CRI | LED efficacy | Target | Result |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LWW-PZT-W38A | 15×40° asymmetric | 250mm from wall | White putty finish | 4000K / Ra>80 | 120 lm/W | 10 lux | Up to 7m vertical coverage |
36W • 4000K • Ra>80 • LED efficacy: 120 lm/W
Results are based on the stated test configuration. Actual illuminance and uniformity vary with wall reflectance, mounting geometry, aiming angle, ambient light and project conditions.

FAQ
Model: LWW-PZT-W38AWhat is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and typical lead time?
Lead Time: Typical production lead time is 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the chosen configuration (optical beam angles, CCT/RGBW channels, input voltage, and extended bracket accessories) as well as total volume. If your job site has an urgent deadline, please contact our team to confirm current component stock and fast-track options.
Does connector direction affect DMX data on the LWW-PZT-W38A?
Does the LWW-PZT-W38A support RDM addressing?
For field addressing and diagnostics, use the MR-WT35 DMX Address Writer & Tester or the TPK DMX-ADDR tool. For 24V DC systems, Pin 5 provides the PI/PO address-signal line used in the addressing workflow.
What should be checked if the fixture does not respond to DMX control?
- Data polarity
Verify A+ (Purple), B− (Pink) and Ground/Shield (Yellow). Swapping A+ and B− prevents correct data decoding. - Signal direction and connector sealing
Confirm that data enters through the Male Input connector and exits through the Female Output connector. Tighten all IP66 screw collars by hand to maintain reliable pin contact and sealing. - DMX universe capacity and termination
Do not exceed the recommended fixture quantity per DMX universe: L12 — maximum 32 fixtures; L6 — maximum 64 fixtures; L3 — maximum 128 fixtures. Install a 120Ω terminator at the last fixture in the run to reduce signal reflections. - Addressing and console patch
Confirm that the programmed DMX start address matches the console patch. For field channel writing, signal testing and fault isolation, use the MR-WT35 DMX Address Writer & Tester.
