About TPK

Founded in Hong Kong in 2002 as Topking and later operating as TPK Optoelectronic Tech Co., Ltd., TPK Lighting develops and manufactures outdoor linear lighting solutions from its 8,000 m² facility in Zhongshan, China, for architectural and infrastructure projects worldwide.

Responsible Manufacturing

Practical steps in factory energy and material selection.

On-site Renewable Energy Since 2016

TPK has used on-site solar power since 2016, beginning with a 33 kW photovoltaic installation. We upgraded to higher-efficiency modules in 2022, and our factory now has 100 kW of installed solar capacity, with panels on the rooftop and west-facing façade.

A 3 kW wind turbine and an energy storage system have also been in operation at the factory for more than three years. These installations reflect our long-term, hands-on approach to renewable energy and on-site energy management.

Recycled Aluminium in Selected Components

We have begun using aluminium containing recycled material in mounting brackets for selected new products. These brackets are separate from the luminaire’s sealed housing, introducing recycled materials in a clearly defined application, with material selection focused on the mechanical strength required for mounting.

The current application is limited to selected mounting brackets, rather than the complete luminaire housing.
