Project Overview

Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium in Thessaloniki, Greece, is the home ground of Aris Thessaloniki F.C., the Greek professional football club. As one of the most recognizable sports landmarks in northern Greece, the venue requires lighting that supports both evening matches and its architectural presence. TPK LED floodlighting fixtures were deployed to deliver uniform, glare-controlled illumination across the stands and pitch surroundings.

Stadium Floodlighting & Exterior Illumination

High-power LED floodlights provide the primary illumination for the seating bowl, combining narrow beam control with high lumen output to keep light precisely on target. The optical design minimizes spill light towards neighbouring residential streets, a key requirement for venues located inside an urban fabric.

Around the exterior, compact architectural floodlights trace the stadium’s structural lines, giving the venue a clear and recognizable silhouette on match nights. The complete system is engineered for continuous outdoor operation with IP66-rated protection.
